Suggested drinking sequence:
These should be enjoyed as their pairs and of course with your preferred partner, white first followed by the red.
However if you want to drink them all in one go then suggest to crack on with the O'Leary Walker Polish Hill Riesling the freshness and acidity will freshen up those taste buds. Then moving on to the richer style of Domaine des Peres de l'Eglise Blanc, you will find the broader flavours matching well with grilled white meats or fish. The Lapostolle Cuvee Alexandre Chardonnay wraps up the whites and again will be great with oven baked dish, or even a pasta dish in a cream sauce.
For the reds, open them all at the same time 30 mins or so before you move on to them. Start off with Lapostolle Cuvee Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon the fresh fruits and bright aromas of this wine is ideal to be consumed first. Domaine des Peres l'Eglise Rouge should follow next, this wine is a bit rustic in texture, tannins a bit firmer and goes well with any red meat dishes, casseroles. And of course the O'Leary Walker Clare Valley Shiraz is a bolder style with a bit of power telling you grilled meats, sausages and mash, assorted cheeses,
Writing this makes me drool and want to grab one of these with some nice food!
